David Mills

What do you do with someone who went to Bible College and has a Master's Degree in both Counseling and Public Administration? Someone who has pastored, built nonprofit social service programs, and launched businesses? It’s proof that God has a sense of humor because what might look like a strange list of experiences is actually the chapters of a story about the Kingdom of God breaking down barriers.

Dave's operates on an enduring belief that Jesus wants to unleash the church in a culture that needs God. That drive led to the creation of the Founder’s Table Network as a tool that reconnects churches and entrepreneurs to help them reach across the secular-sacred divide and to re-enchant entrepreneurs with God and His mission.

David brings a wealth of training and experience from the worlds of ministry and business to the work of Founder’s Table Network. He has planted churches, worked in national ministries, and served as a founder of multiple tech-related businesses all to build bridges that unlock access to God’s purposes in unexpected places.

Amy Alexander

Amy started her entrepreneurial career at a young age, with an Associates in Graphic Design and a dangerous amount of enthusiasm. Born into the home of a church-planter turned entrepreneur, there seemed no better way to live than with a head full of ideas and a healthy tolerance for risk.

After a stint in the public university marketing space, she co-founded an agency with her father, David Mills. Amy quickly discovered that her corporate life and her passion for leading worship were never allowed in the same room. Coupled with the birth of her twin girls, she began to ask what it would mean to be a whole person in every part of her life. Could the sacred/secular divide be dissolved?

And after ten years of Creative Directing and fifteen years of worship leading, a new dream was forming. She and Dave launched Founder’s Table Network out of a deep calling to bring the Kingdom of God into the marketplace, and to disciple entrepreneurs as the missionaries they were always meant to be.

Amy, and husband Chad, have the privilege of homeschooling and discipling their daughters in Fredericksburg, VA.

The Founder's Table Network is a program of Capacity to Serve, Inc. A Virginia-based nonprofit and 501c3 Organization.

We subscribe to the Lausanne Covenant and are not denominationally affiliated.

OUR VISION

Ezekiel 47

Ezekiel chapter 47 describes a river flowing from the new temple of God. It describes a river that gets deeper and wider. A river that turns salty water fresh, lined with fisherman whose nets are always full. It describes trees where birds are safe to build nests, with fruit that is always ready to eat and leaves that heal.
We desire to be a community that brings this kind of life into the marketplace and into the local church. May encounters with our team, with our community, and with our teaching always yield:

Deep, Refreshing Waters

As risk-takers, this community should challenge us to go all-in with Jesus. But in the risk will always be the refreshing reality of the presence of Jesus and the reward of our "obedient yes."

Fisherman with Full Nets

We desire to be a place that always yields return as entrepreneurs and pastors find a place of belonging where God's provision is easy to see and experience.

Ripe Fruit, Year-Round

God's vision is a nutrient-rich Kingdom of Heaven on earth, where the Holy Spirit is evident and where growth and life cannot be tamped down. 

Leaves that Heal

Encounters with Founder's Table Network should always bring wholeness and healing, leaving everyone more aligned with Jesus than before.
